The company:
igen is a not-for-profit company, started in 1996 and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the igen trust, which has charitable status. The focus of igen is on the delivery of public services which are free at the point of access. The company currently holds contracts for the provision of Youth and Adult services and has over fifteen years successful experience of managing and delivering careers, and Connexions services.
igen is the contracted lead agency for the Connexions Targeted Support contract in Leeds, in which igen leads a multi agency, cross sector partnership comprising VCS organisations and Leeds City Council Youth Service. We work with young people in post-statutory education and adults through a range of contracts for National Careers Service, Foundation Learning and NEET Engagement programmes, we are also a subcontractor for the Work Programme. Our current operations cover Yorkshire and Humber and the North East.
The job:
This is a new post designed to drive performance improvements through excellent quality assurance processes, high quality learning provision, and effective use of MI/data. Reporting to the Operations Director you will lead on company quality assurance processes and develop business performance systems to ensure that the company remains contract compliant. You will support our quest to be a provider of choice by ensuring that our provision is recognised by customers and commissioners as well as Ofsted and awarding bodies as excellent quality and value for money. The successful candidate will have a track record of successfully developing and embedding quality management systems and establishing a culture of continuous improvement and customer focus. You will have experience of analysing data and using Management Information to support teams in improving performance as well as a clear understanding of policy developments in relation to curriculum and qualifications. The role is multi-faceted so excellent juggling skills are essential!
