<p><strong>Artlink </strong>is Hull’s leading community arts organisation working across the Humber sub-region and is seeking to appoint an experienced creative professional to oversee the creative direction of Artlink and its Centre for Community Arts, manage a small staff team and develop funding partnerships and networks.</p>
<p>The successful candidate will have worked within a similar role, will have extensive knowledge of the creative sector and be able to work in a busy and focused environment.  We will consider candidates who have worked on a freelance and/or consultancy basis.</p>
<p>Salary is £29,236 per annum (scale PO35) full time at 35 hours per week.</p>
<p>Working Mondays to Fridays 9-5pm at the Artlink Centre for Community Arts, Hull.</p>
<p>This role is an interim position for approximately 9 months and requires a candidate that is happy to work on a contract basis and is available to start in August 2012.</p>

<p>The successful recruit will be accountable to the Chief Officer and will be required to work 25 hours spread over 4 days each week. The salary for this is £12,467 p.a. and while based in Age UK East Riding’s Beverley office, they will be required to make frequent trips around the East Riding area, for which car mileage is payable at 37p per mile.</p>
<p>It is important that candidates are able to prove that they meet all the essential and many of the desirable criteria required of the post holder. The essential criteria includes being skilled in and having experience of providing information, advice and assistance; having an understanding of the issues and needs affecting older people; and, the skill and ability to communicate and work effectively with colleagues, volunteers, partner and other organisations.</p>

<p style="text-align: left;">This is a new post designed to drive performance improvements through excellent quality assurance processes, high quality learning provision, and effective use of MI/data. Reporting to the Operations Director you will lead on company quality assurance processes and develop business performance systems to ensure that the company remains contract compliant. You will support our quest to be a provider of choice by ensuring that our provision is recognised by customers and commissioners as well as Ofsted and awarding bodies as excellent quality and value for money. <p><strong>Period of Volunteering:</strong> Flexible hours plus 1 Evening Committee Meeting every month plus ad hoc meetings, when required. Minimum of 12 months commitment.</p>
<p>East Hull Amateur Boxing Club (EHABC) is in the process of registering as a Community Amateur Sports Club.  EHABC provides opportunities for youngsters and members of the community to become involved in the sport of Boxing.  We also provide weight loss sessions for adults.</p>
<p>EHABC has a proven successful record of producing top class Amateur Boxers and effective weight loss solutions.</p>

<h1 align="left">EXPERIENCE/ SKILL/ KNOWLEDGE/ TRAINING</h1>
<p>You will need to be able to work with people and have good interpersonal skills. You do not need to be an expert although commitment, common sense and the ability to be objective is vital. Specific skills such as finance, fundraising, project management, business experience, awareness of employment and/or charity legislation can be useful but is not essential. Training Provided.</p>
