Outreach Youth Worker (Part time)
Hours: 12 hrs per week
Holidays: 25 days per annum (pro rata)
Salary: NJC Scale 5 £19,427 p.a. (pro rata)
Term: Fixed to 30 June 2012
Purpose of the job
Our part‐time youth workers are part of a team of staff engaging young people through outreach and delivering a
varied programme of activities for local young people, many of whom are at risk. The post holder will work with
other staff to support and engage local young people in our youth programme and also share responsibility for keeping
session reports and evaluations and maintaining accurate records for monitoring purposes.
Learning Support Sessional Tutor (Part time)
Hours: 20 hrs per week
Holidays: 25 days per annum (pro rata)
Salary: NJC Scale 25 ‐ £21,519 p.a. (pro rata)
Term: Fixed to 31 December 2012
Purpose of the job
To plan, prepare and deliver courses/workshops for adults within the Employability Skills and Skills for Life programme
of work. To carry out administrative tasks required in each programme area. Provide appropriate learner
feedback and support, educational advice and information where necessary; and to create an appropriate and welcoming
atmosphere for learners.
Personalisation Worker (Part time)
Hours: 20 hrs per week
Holidays: 25 days per annum pro rata
Salary: NJC Scale 28 ‐ £23,708 p.a. (pro rata)
Term: Fixed to 31 December 2012
Purpose of the job
The post holder will have the ability to respond flexibly, positively and successfully to the ever‐changing pressures
which exist for local people with social care needs. They will assist with the promotion of independence, social inclusion
and well being of all adults with social care needs primarily within East Hull. They will seek to provide opportunities
and choices that will improve the quality of people’s lives.
Caretaker/Handyman (Part time)
Hours: 12 hrs per week
Holidays: 25 days per annum pro rata
Salary: NJC Scale 7 ‐ £12,787 p.a. (pro rata)
Term: Fixed to 31 December 2012
Purpose of the job
The post holder will undertake routine duties such as servicing and maintaining the Centre and external site to maintain
a safe, secure and clean environment. To monitor the effective provision of utilities and support services as well
as undertaking basic maintenance and routine repairs.
